ABOUT
Xavier Rull was born in Barcelona, Spain. He has graduated in Film Directing and Editing & Sound at the Center for Film Studies of Catalonia. In 2011 he had founded his own production company Noctambule Cinema. “Crack in the Darkness” is his most ambitious short film that he had directed and produced which during the distribution process has participated in more than seventy festivals around the world and has appeared in over one hundred publications in national and international media. His short film “Blood Bonding” is the first european short film produced and distributed by Eli Roth’s channel Crypt TV. "Exile" is his latest short film and is on post production process.
Xavier also works with Tangier International Film Festival to programme both the line-up of films, jury members and guests and as an official selection submission judge at ÉCU The European Independent Film Festival of Paris.
Currently he is working on his first feature film, an independent horror film “The House on the Frontier” set to shoot in the city of Tangier.
